They say that politics makes strange bedfellows. But can you imagine Jack Schlossberg and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 36, also known as AOC, as a couple? Nah, impossible. Or at least very unlikely. Schlossberg, 33, the grandson of President John F. Kennedy who seemingly has aspirations in the Democratic party, reportedly scoffed at that rumor, too. Per the New York Post, Schlossberg made light of such a wild notion. And he dismissed it with class.

Schlossberg Is Allegedly Morose After Losing an Election
Per the outlet, Schlossberg has been "down in the dumps" following his failed attempt this summer to win a New York congressional nomination. He got only 10 percent of the votes. Such a meager showing can't have boosted Schlossberg's hopes for being part of the Kennedy political dynasty. Now, in the aftermath of that defeat, the buddies of this descendant of Camelot are supposedly aiming to link him with AOC. To his credit, he had a gentlemanly retort when asked about a potential pairing with her.
Ever the politician, he said, "I respect her a lot — she can do way better than me!" In case anybody missed the point, he also quipped, "What a silly story."
Nevertheless, those dreaming of a AOC-Schlossberg meetup may not throw in the towel just yet. One source allegedly said to the Post, "Those two would actually get along great together. They believe government is a force of good. They'd at least be good friends."
She is evidently single at this point. AOC reportedly broke up with her fiance, Riley Roberts.
He Also Lost a Beloved Sister Months Ago
Not winning an election is not the only sad development in Jack Schlossberg's life. In December 2025. his sister, Tatiana Schlossberg Moran, died of the age of 35 from acute myeloid leukemia. She was married and the mother of two young children. It was another heartbreaking tragedy for a legendary family that has endured far too many tragedies already.
Jack Schlossberg would be quite a catch for the right woman. Handsome, from a wealthy, prominent family, and educated at Yale and Harvard, it will be interesting to see who he chooses as a romantic partner someday.
