JetBlue Pilot Orders To Return Home
The case will be held in North Carolina, and the JetBlue pilot is requesting he be allowed to return there of his own volition. His attorney has requested he be allowed to travel alone. "'Frankly, there is no running away from this case, judge. He's perfectly aware of that," she said. "These are serious charges. The news is here. He's not going to be able to just run away from this.
The judge took heed and allowed Gudorf to appear in court in North Carolina with a $10,000 bail. Until the case is concluded, JetBlue has placed their pilot on indefinite leave.
The case came about due to the indecent material appearing online. After complying with a search warrant, Google was able to identify where and from who the file came. The search led them back to Gudorf, resulting in his warrant being lodged.
The investigation revealed that he was living in Huntsville, NC, at the time. However, he relocated before he became a suspect. The crime was committed in NC, and so, the warrant was also issued there. However, it wasn't until he flagged up as a JetBlue pilot that they were able to locate him and take him in.
