Jennifer Nettles is recovering after an on-stage fall landed her in the hospital.
According to the New York Post, the country singer was walking on stage during a private performance at Hammerstein Ballroom when she tripped over a large lighting fixture. That fall resulted in a broken rib and an immediate trip to the hospital.
Thankfully, Nettles is recovering well. She took to social media to update her fans on her condition.
She also personally thanked the hospital staff and those who helped her get treatment quickly.
This was the first time in Nettles' career that she tripped on stage. That's an impressive feat for any artist who spends most of their time out on the road. In fact, Granger Smith, Tim McGraw and Thomas Rhett are just a few of the artists who recently took a spill while performing.
Nettles plans on getting back to touring as soon as possible. In recent months, she's been busy hitting the road in support of her latest solo album, Playing with Fire. You can find a full list of Nettles' upcoming concert dates here.
