Bunnie Xo, 45, appreciates the hard work and effort that Jelly Roll put into his makeover. It has made him value himself in a whole new way. She candidly told the outlet that for her, the "coolest" aspect of Jelly Roll's revamped physique and boosted self-confidence is "getting to see him look in the mirror and...fall in love with himself."
Bunnie perceptively added that "battling weight and being called memes every day and just living with that burden of the weight on him every day, that takes a toll on somebody's self-esteem."
Now, maybe for the first time ever, he is besieged with compliments such as "I'm so proud of you" and "You look so hot." It has to feel great to get that kind of positive feedback and attention. He earned it.
He Used To Feel Imprisoned by His Body
Jelly Roll shared his feelings about formerly being heavy (540 pounds) with Men's Health. There was shame, inconvenience, and many limitations he dealt with because of his weight. His thoughts are painful to read. The singer's forthright honesty about himself is really impressive.
He observed, "It was never-ending sadness. And anger. I was a prisoner to my own body. Dude, wiping my ass was a problem. Washing myself properly was a problem. Getting in cars. Every decision I made in life had to be based on my weight." No more!
