Jelly Roll has made a major career decision. The "Save Me" singer recently revealed that he's going to take some time away from touring. The announcement noted that the break would begin after wrapping up his headlining The Little Ass Shed Tour and his stadium dates as part of the Big Ass Stadium Tour with Post Malone.

His final show took place on July 30.
The megastar made the announcement in front of a live audience. He told his fans that his current run of shows will be the last time we see him on stage "for a year or two." Jelly Roll noted that his decision comes after realizing he needs time to heal, per Country Now.
"This has truly been a lifetime experience for me," Jelly Roll explained to the crowd. "And in a couple of nights, I go to Colorado Springs and do my last show for a year or two. I'm fixing to take some time off and heal. Thank you for the opportunity."
While Jelly Roll didn't make it clear what he's healing from, the timing suggests that it's likely following his divorce from Bunnie XO.
When looking at Jelly Roll's website, there are no more upcoming performances listed. As such, his hiatus from being on the road is likely underway.
Jelly Roll Recently Filed for Divorce From Bunnie XO
It's no secret that Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO have gotten divorced. The news that Jelly Roll had filed for the split swept the internet at a rapid pace. Bunnie XO has addressed the split on multiple episodes of her "Dumb Blonde" podcast.
According to a source close to the couple who recently spoke with PEOPLE, neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie XO had any intention of dragging out their divorce settlement, either.
"There was never any desire to drag the process out," the source said. "They both wanted to handle the divorce with respect for one another. He's a very generous person by nature and wanted to make sure the divorce was handled fairly and respectfully."
With Jelly Roll now stepping away from the touring life, fans will undoubtedly wonder if that means he'll take a break from creating new music, too. Hopefully, the time away will allow him the space he needs to heal and move forward. For now, though, don't expect to see too much from Jelly Roll in the near future.
