Jay Leno has stepped up and is using his own fire truck to deliver food for the firefighters and other first responders in LA.
The Los Angeles wildfires have proved to be a monumental effort for the officers fighting it. Leno decided to put his own fire truck to good use. It may be no good at actually fighting fires, but it's helped in its own way.
Leno spoke to CNN's Anderson Cooper in an impromptu interview, where he told about his efforts. "We're cooking for the crew," he explained. "We got a big fire going. They're all getting boxed lunches, so we figured let's get some hot food."
"It's kinda fun," he said of using his fire truck, "I've got a 1941 American LaFrance fire truck."
"It's good to have a fire truck when you live in LA," he joked. He then recalled that he "loaded up" the fire truck and visited the Rose Bowl to help feed the firefighters there.
A Professional Emergency Manager at the Rose Bowl took a picture of Leno and shared the experience to X.
In the interview, Leno also said that he plans to get to the other locations within the next two or three days.

Cooper asks Leno what he thinks of the fires.
"It's unbelievable," he said, "It's the biggest natural disaster, not that 9/11 was a natural disaster, but it's literally on that scale. It's 10,000 buildings. I mean, if you drove all day, you couldn't see 10,000 buildings."
He explained that there is "nothing" for miles when looking at the afflicted scenes from a hill. It reminded him of "Hiroshima."
He did then go on to comment of the monumental community effort, of everyone "pitching in." He brought 9/11 back up once more, saying that that was the last time he saw the community come together on such a scale.
"Pacific Palisades, it doesn't exist," he later went on to say, "and probably won't exist for the next four, five years. I don't know how you rebuild from this."
"But we'll get through it. We always do."
