Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce Earn Top 10 Hit With Christmas Duet

"Fairytale of Philadelphia" debuted at No. 8 on the iTunes chart.

That Taylor Swift magic has rubbed off on Travis Kelce, who's not only released a single with brother Jason but also scored an instant hit.

The Kelce brothers duet "Fairytale of Philadelphia," a reworking of Irish punks The Pogues' "Fairytale of New York," debuted at No. 8 on the iTunes chart, positioned between two Jelly Roll songs. Jack Harlow holds the top spot currently with "Lovin on Me."

"This is incredibly humbling, thank you to all for supporting!!," Jason tweeted on Wednesday (Nov. 15) along with a screenshot of the charts.

To give you an idea of its swift success (pun intended), the song was released the same day as Jason's post. It's from forthcoming album A Philly Special Christmas Special, which is by Jason and his fellow Eagles offensive linemen Connor Barwin, Lane Johnson and Jordan MailataIt's the second consecutive year with a Philly Specials holiday album. The group's name is a reference to the Philly Special, a trick play that helped the Eagles upset Tom Brady's New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII back in 2018.

"We went out to Kansas City to record with Travis, who welcomed us with open arms and really knocked it out of the park," shared producer Charlie Hall in a press release. "There's a thing called 'blood harmony,' which signifies that magical thing that happens when siblings sing together, something that can only be achieved when there's that shared DNA, both musically and spiritually— from The Beach Boys to the Everly Brothers, the Andrews Sisters to the Bee Gees, and the Mills Brothers to the Kelce Brothers."

A Philly Special Christmas Special is available now for vinyl preorder via the project's website, with proceeds from sales benefitting the Children's Crisis Treatment Center's toy drive and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Snowflake Station. The album will be available Dec. 1 on all digital platforms. "Fairytale of Philadelphia" can be streamed now.
