Jason Aldean's brand new single, "A Little More Summertime," has only been out a couple of weeks, but it already has us falling in love with the star all over again.
The modern track finds Aldean grieving the loss of a summer romance. With just a little more summertime, Aldean says "she mighta stayed forever and never, ever left these arms."
The song, written by Jerry Flowers, Tony Martin and Michael Knox, has a great vibe. It's the perfect tune to listen to as we come to the end of summer, and makes us wish that we could spend a few more days enjoying summertime.
If you want to have the song as your own, just pre-order the new album for a free digital download. Otherwise, you can listen to it on the radio, where it is playing constantly in most venues.
All in all, this song is everything you can hope for in an end of summer song and we can't wait to hear the rest of the new album.
"A Little More Summertime" is fresh off Aldean's new album, They Don't Know, which is due out on Sept. 9. This is his 7th studio album and also features his No. 1 single "Lights Come On." Right now, Aldean is finishing up his summer tour which will end on October 1.
