The second annual FarmBorough Festival has just announced their impressive 2016 lineup, which features a few big surprises.
Brooks & Dunn will also follow-up their recent Las Vegas residency alongside Reba McEntire with a performance at the festival, which may signal a further step out of retirement for the duo. Kacey Musgraves, David Nail, Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett, Eric Paslay, A Thousand Horses and Billy Currington are also set to perform. 1990s hitmakers Lonestar, who have been hard at work preparing their first album in five years, are also featured on this year's lineup. Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Organizers say they hope that this year's event will elevate FarmBorough as one of the premiere country music festivals in the country.
"I want it to be special. Part of this is trying to get something that nobody else or very few other people can see. That is the Brooks & Dunn element of this," Live Nation's President of Country Touring, Brian O'Connell, told EW. "The idea that we're going to be one of two shows, outside of their Las Vegas deal since 2010... I'm like tripping out. It's so cool."
General admission passes for the festival will be priced at $225, and will go on sale Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. EST through FarmBoroughFestival.com.
