Jason Aldean isn't scared of being on the road. The country singer spends most of the year touring, serving his ever-growing fanbase. However, if you go back and look at Jason's tour dates, you'll notice one common theme: he rarely does shows early in the year.

2026 is a little different, though. Jason is ramping up for his tour of Australia. As such, he's penciled in some warm-up gigs to make sure he's ready for whatever the tour throws at him.
"We're getting ready to go to Australia in mid February for, I don't know, almost three weeks," he told 102.7 Coyote Country. "So we're going to be there and I think a lot of it was kind of getting back early, trying to do some warm up shows to get ready for that run."
If you're wondering why Jason usually swerves the earlier months of the year, the answer is simple: the weather.
"We've already had to cancel one show or postpone one show because of the weather," he said. "So I'm like, 'Oh, yeah, I forgot. This is why we don't tour this time of year now.'"
If you were planning on booking tickets to see Jason this year, don't fret. He's still planning to be on the road after July 4 like normal.
"We'll take a little break when we get back from Australia and then hit it again after July 4th like we would normally do anyway. And we'll probably end in September versus October or something like that."

In recent years, country music has surged to a whole new level of popularity. As such, most country artists now boast a significant global fanbase.
"They're country music fans," Jason told 102.7 Coyote Country. "They're rabid about it. You know, they treated us really well over there and supported all, all the shows. They were amazing."
We've recently seen multiple country stars head over to Australia on tour, including Jelly Roll. And, it would appear Jason is following in the "Save Me" singer's footsteps, as he will be adding some shows in New Zealand, too.
"This time, we're going to New Zealand first to do a few shows there, and then going to Australia and do a run over there, and really just kind of try and open that market up a little bit more for us and give us another place, another avenue to go play shows."
It sounds like Jason is in for a busy year. But when you love what you do and create great music, being busy never feels like work. At least, that's what they say!
