Rising country star Jana Kramer and her husband Michael Caussin are celebrating the arrival of their first child.
According to People, Jolie Rae Caussin was born at 4:01 p.m. on Jan. 31. Their newborn daughter weighed in at 7 lbs., 1 oz. and measured 19½ inches long.
"Words can't even begin to describe how much happiness I'm feeling right now," Kramer told the publication. "Holding my healthy and beautiful baby girl in my arms is something that's truly indescribable. Michael and I are so thankful for this wonderful blessing!"
Kramer also shared a close-up photo of little Jolie on her Facebook page, along with a sweet message to her new daughter. "Welcome to the world our sweet princess Jolie Rae Caussin," the 32-year-old singer wrote. "Momma and daddy love you so much."
The Kramer family has had a lot to celebrate in the last 24 hours. Just hours after giving birth to her new daughter, Kramer was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2016 Academy of Country Music awards.
"What a whirlwind of great surprises and wonderful news," Kramer said in a statement. "I'm overwhelmed with joy after welcoming my beautiful baby girl into the world AND finding out I've been nominated for an ACM Award!"
Kramer will likely spend the next few weeks soaking up as much time with her newborn as possible, as she's soon scheduled to hit the road beginning with the Off the Rails Country Music Festival on April 24.
