Jamie Foxx Admits to Singing Miranda Lambert in the Shower

Jamie Foxx isn’t a complete stranger to the country music world.

He collaborated on a song with Rascal Flatts on their 2007 album, Still Feels Good, was a performer at the George Strait Artist of the Decade Special, and hosted this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards. Plus, the singer, actor and musician is a Texas native, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that he’s a country music fan – especially in the shower.

“Every day,” Foxx said when People asked how often he sings in the shower. “Sometimes I’ll sing country music – I know it sounds weird. I love to sing that Miranda Lambert song [“The House That Built Me”], and the way it echoes is really dope.”

With two Grammys under his belt and numerous other professional accolades, Foxx’s endorsement of Lambert’s musical talents shouldn’t be discounted. Could this open the door for a possible collaboration between Fox and Lambert in the future?

It’s not a completely unheard of idea, especially for an artist like Foxx who isn’t afraid of crossing genres and experimenting with his sound. It might be just a pipe dream, but it’s still fun to know that even celebrities enjoy a good country song while cleaning up in the shower.
