Rock icon Jack White is headed for divorce after his wife, Olivia Jean, filed court papers alleging inappropriate marital conduct.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Jean filed for divorce on June 3 in Nashville.
The filing cites "inappropriate marital conduct, which makes further cohabitation unsafe and improper."
Jean did not provide additional details, and TMZ notes that "inappropriate marital conduct" is a standard statutory term commonly used in Tennessee divorce proceedings.
Jack White's Wife Files for Divorce
In the filing, Jean states that she is financially dependent on White and is seeking continued financial support.
She has asked to be included on White's life insurance policy, requested alimony. She also requested that he continue covering her medical insurance.
The couple married in 2022 in an onstage ceremony in Detroit after White proposed during a live performance.
"It's been such a great day, mind if we get married right now?" he asked the crowd. Third Man Records co-founder Ben Swank then officiated the ceremony.
Court documents list the date of the filing as the couple's official separation date.
White Preparing for New Album and Tour
The marriage was White's third.
He was previously married to his White Stripes bandmate Meg White from 1996 to 2000 and later to model Karen Elson from 2005 to 2013.
White and Elson share two children, daughter Scarlett, 20, and son Henry, 18.
Since the White Stripes disbanded in 2011, White has enjoyed a successful solo career while continuing to expand his business ventures.
His debut solo album, Blunderbuss, was released in 2012 to critical acclaim and strong commercial success.
White is also preparing to release his seventh solo studio album, Frozen Charlotte, on July 10, 2026, through Third Man Records.
The release coincides with the launch of a North American tour, which begins in Washington, D.C., before continuing across the United States throughout July.
He will then head overseas for performances in South Korea, China, Kazakhstan, and Turkey during August. A UK and Ireland leg then follows, that opens with two shows at London's Eventim Apollo.
The tour is scheduled to return to North America for additional dates throughout September, October, and November.
