A new study revealed the 10 happiest cities in America and 50 percent of them are all in the same state. That is right, California's endless supply of sunshine seems to be contributing to a lot of happy residents. However, out of all the happy places in the state, one city stands out among the rest.
Fremont, California has been ranked the happiest city in America. WalletHub did a study that ranked cities on their financial stability, high life satisfaction, and healthy living conditions. Apparently, Fremont passed all of them with flying colors. Daily Mail shared that, "The personal finance company measures happiness based on 29 metrics including depression rates, average daily leisure time, income-growth rates and more."
Cities that scored highly featured aspects that promoted good physical and mental health. Things such as "reasonable work hours, short commutes, caring neighbors, and good weather." Fremont, California features many of these ideal things. Additionally, the study showed that residents have the highest rate of life satisfaction. Furthermore, they have "the fourth-highest average live expectancy in America." Not to mention it doesn't hurt that this city also has the "highest share of households earning an income of more than $75,000 annually." I know money doesn't solve all of your problems, but it sure doesn't hurt.
