TikTok has proved to be a huge cultural impact over the past many years, and now its reign over us has come to an end. TikTok refugees have flooded to other corners of the internet to share their remorse. Not everyone is sad about it, however. Some are pretty angry.

Many saw TikTok as a central hub for the sharing of talent, knowledge, information, news, humor, and joy. On January 19th, however, as planned, the app was banned. Any U.S. user trying to log in to the app was faced with a notice that prevented them from entry.
After a short message, the app threw a thankful nod to "President Donald Trump" as he had indicated that he would try to work for a solution to the ban.
With entry to the app blocked, the faithful fans went elsewhere.
Some Think The TikTok Ban Is An Infringement On Free Speech And Hypocritical
Americans are big on free speech. So to ban the most popular outlet of said speech can be viewed as an infringement of American rights and freedom.
"The TikTok ban is because the US government wants access to, and to control, all of the platforms on which we talk to one another and share ideas, so they can limit the things we can talk about. It's that simple. It is the opposite of free speech. American liberty is imaginary," one writes.
"Don't let the Government take your GOD given rights! Preserve the 1st Amendment!" exclaims another.
"Ah yes America the land of freedom where you can own a gun but can't have tiktok yes," another criticizes.
Some online are also angered that banning TikTok seemed to be a priority over other problems.
"Damn TikTok really banned but [OnlyFans] still running just fine. America priorities really f--ked," posts one.
"Damn TikTok was banned before we even tried to get rid of guns in schools," highlights another.
Many are simply sad, however, that their pass time of choice has been banned.
"D--n TikTok is completely shut down. They ain't even give us til midnight," one writes, upset.
"D--n.. TikTok was the only social video app that I liked... guess I'll have to leave my room now," jokes another.
Some are happy that TikTok has gone, however, saying that it was a negative influence on society.
"Good riddance! TikTok was nothing more than a breeding ground for cringe, misinformation, and attention-seeking behavior," types a relieved user.
