After giving notorious wife-killer Scott Peterson a beating, prison inmate Charles Miles has given his reasons behind the attack. Miles revealed that he attacked Peterson after the latter rammed into him during a game of pickleball, reportedly not making an effort to avoid him.

According to TMZ, who obtained an "exclusive preview clip" of Charles Miles talking with Court TV, Miles attacked Peterson after being rammed by the murderer during a game of pickleball. Miles claimed Peterson "aggressively" sprinted toward him with a paddle in his hand, ramming into him. Moreover, Miles claims Peterson didn't even try to avoid him.
Miles would then say that a struggle between him and Peterson unfolded. However, according to him, he overpowered Peterson and climbed on him. That's when he claims that he "beat him down to the ground" and even "beat the hell out of him."
And while "beating the hell" out of somebody is bound to make you enemies, especially in a prison context, Miles revealed that he patched things up with Scott Peterson. It only took a conversation between the two convicts to reconcile their differences, a day after the incident took place. Of course, the conversation wasn't out in the open but from isolated cells. They were isolated as a result of their fight.
Patching Things Up
As per the outlet, Miles claimed that he was better off being on good speaking terms with Scott Peterson, given the money he possesses. Miles claimed, according to TMZ, that Peterson could very well hire other inmates to beat him to a pulp.
So, instead of gaining a nemesis, Miles decided to apologize to Scott Peterson. He said that a "primal urge" overwhelmed him when he saw Peterson approaching him in such a hurry. Moreover, the mentioned "primal urge" was further triggered by the fact that Peterson brutally killed his wife and unborn child, although he has continued to claim to be innocent. Peterson even tried to convince Miles of his innocence. It is unclear whether Charles Miles believed Scott Peterson or not.
Back in 2004, Scott Peterson was sentenced to life in prison for the murders of his wife Laci Peterson, and his unborn son, Conner. Scott reported his pregnant wife missing in 2002. However, he was charged after his family's remains were found on San Francisco Bay in 2003. Laci was found bloated and heavily decomposed, with most of her limbs and head missing. Conner's body had been expelled from his mother's, with his fetus remains being found first.
