On Thursday evening, Kerr's family confirmed the update in a social media post, revealing she had been located and reunited with her brother.
"Rachel has now been traced and is safe in the care of family," her cousin Claire Hill wrote on Facebook. "Thank you to everyone who took the time to share and provide support and information."
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office had previously confirmed it was assisting the family during the search.
Authorities and relatives have not disclosed details about where Kerr had been or what led to her disappearance.
However, confirmation of her safety marks a positive outcome after growing fears over her welfare.
Timeline Reveals Growing Concern Before Disappearance
Kerr last contacted her family on Saturday, April 25, as she checked out of an all-inclusive hotel in Agadir.
Her phone was later switched off, prompting immediate concern.
"Last known to be staying at the Caribbean Village hotel, however, she checked [out] on Saturday and we haven't heard from her since. Her phone has been switched off," Hill wrote in an earlier post.
"We're very concerned for her welfare and appealing for any information on her whereabouts or who she may be in contact with out there."
In the days leading up to her disappearance, Kerr had been building a following of around 9,000 on social media.
Her last post was dated April 13, according to the New York Post.
She had also been working to launch her own travel service and modeling agency.
Concerns deepened after a man claiming to be her travel companion alleged online that she had been left in a vulnerable position.
"The police are involved as she has gone missing for over a week [...] she ran out of money completely on Friday," he wrote.
