An influencer has been left fighting for her life after a tragic motorbike accident. As reported by the New York Post, Brazilian-born Lis Santos Bayir was holidaying in Bali when she was involved in an accident.
Bayir, who was born Elisangela Aparecida dos Santos, was immediately rushed to BIMC Kuta Hospital on August 1. There, she was transferred to intensive care, where she was confirmed to be in a severe but stable condition.
Her family issued a heartbreaking statement pleading for B+ blood donations. "We urgently need donations of type B+ blood," they explained. "Anyone who can donate or share this request will make a huge difference to her recovery."
"She continues under intensive care in the ICU, closely monitored by a dedicated and attentive medical team."
However, in a promising update, they revealed the goal for blood donations had been reached. They also added, "The best news we can share is that Lis is out of the ICU and continues to recover all in her own time. The doctors are calling her a miracle."

The Family of the Influencer Said She Wasn't "Acting Irresponsibly"
Details of the crash have been sparse. However, the family also issued a statement condemning sensationalist headlines blaming her for the crash, and saying that the family is "already suffering enough".
"I would like to address a serious matter. Unfortunately, certain pages have been acting in a sensationalist and dishonest manner, labelling [her] accident as an act of irresponsibility."
They also said that "no one was there at the moment of the crash to judge what actually happened."
The family of the influencer said they will "not tolerate this kind of opportunism." They added, "any profile or page that creates, spreads, or comments lies about Lis will be reported, and will face legal action."
This tragic motorbike accident comes after Bayir faced another terrifying medical recovery: breast cancer. She posted about it at the time on social media, writing, "Not every transformation begins by choice. Some begin when life takes away everything you believed you were."
