Influencer Dead After On-Camera Medical Incident

The news comes after the online influencer suffered a medical incident during a June 10 livestream. He was 55 years old.

Coffee Time with John and Momma co-host John Davis has died at the age of 55.

The online influencer co-hosted the YouTube show, which had over 200,000 combined subscribers across the video platform and Facebook. 

As reported by Page Six, the news comes after Davis suffered a medical incident during a June 10 livestream. 

What Happened to John Davis?

Authorities in Jellico, Tennessee, were called to a residence around 5:30 p.m. yesterday. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Although no official cause of death has been released, an incident report shows that Davis suffered from a number of health issues. These included heart failure, kidney failure, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obstructive sleep apnea.

The county medical examiner said that they do not "believe there was anything suspicious about the situation surrounding the death."

During yesterday's livestream of Coffee Time with John and Momma, Davis complained to his mother that he wasn't feeling wellThe hosts were making chicken salad when he collapsed several moments later. 

The video has since been taken down after fans on Reddit said they had reported it. 

What Is "Coffee Time with John and Momma"?

The premise of Coffee Time with John and Momma is simple. Davis and his mother would film themselves sharing stories while preparing new recipes together. 

For example, in the June 9 episode, the duo made tomato parmesan with ranch dressing. Davis said it's a recipe his mother "loves."

"It's something we've had for six or eight years," he said. "I've seen it, I tried it, I like it."

Since the news of Davis' death was announced, fans have been posting tributes to the influencer on his obituary page

Wrote one fan, "I enjoyed watching John and momma on Facebook. They felt like family as if we were all sitting around the table. RIP John. You will be missed."

Another shared that Davis' mom was just like her "beloved grandma raised in Tennessee." 

"It's amazing how you can feel so close to people you've only interacted with on social media," she added. "I believe the greatest glory you can give to God is making a positive impact on others with any opportunity you're given, and surely John Davis made a positive impact. Thanks to him for the love he brought to this world."
