A popular influencer most well known for his acts of random kindness has been banned from Walmart for life. As reported by the New York Post, Darling posted a now-viral video of him being kicked out of an Ohio Walmart.
The video shows an employee kicking him out. Darling obviously protests this, saying that the manager had even recognized him and fist-bumped him as he came into the store. He recalled the conversation:
"I said [to the manager]. 'Can I buy people's groceries, bud?', and she said, 'Yeah'."
He also protests to the employee, saying, "I'm just buying people's groceries!". He also says, "I'm just helping people's heart out. I just don't know where I'm gonna go. Walmart is where the people need me. Target don't need me, man!"
The clip also shows a cop going up to the influencer and explaining exactly where he was banned from. Not only was he banned from Walmart, but also Sam's Club and Murphy's too. The cop said, "That is a life ban,".
But, that's not what Walmart claimed. In a statement referring to his lifetime ban, the chain explained that Darling "has repeatedly violated our policies through disruptive behavior and trespassing, unrelated to any charitable giving."

Of course, people online were not happy. One commenter referenced Walmart's founder, saying "Sam Walton is rolling in his grave,".
Another commenter lamented, "they banned you from every single walmart for doing a kind thing?? terrible!", with another writing, "If Walmart cancels Damon then we all cancel Walmart."
Despite the outcry from fans, Darling has said that he respects the grocery store's decision, and said fans should be respectful too, per TMZ.
"I'm at a point where I'm just gonna do what they ask me and not come back and not film at their business," he explained. "I don't want any problems, I don't want anyone boycotting... I don't want people to stop shopping at Walmart."
"What I wanna do is bring love and laughter and that's what I wanna do, so I don't want to add any kind of drama in the world."
