If You Thought Your Flight Was Bad, At Least You Weren't Vomited On Like One Woman's Horror Story

A few things can ruin a flight. One of them is screaming children in the cabin, and another is a fellow passenger vomiting anywhere near you. One woman had to live through a flight from hell after she was vomited on and left to sit in it.

Sitting at the back of the Delta Airlines flight to New York with her daughter, Laura Juntgen was preparing for takeoff. The plane was taxiing towards the runway, and everyone was in their seats. But, as the plane rolled along, one man quickly got up from his seat and started moving back down the aisle.

Of course, the flight attendants blocked his way and insisted he take a seat. However, the man was in no state to be sat down. He didn't reply to their requests and tried to get past. Clearly in a panic, he started to look around, all while standing right by Laura.

She realised what was going to happen. "Oh my gosh, he's gonna puke," she said on her TikTok video. But it was already too late. The queasy plane passenger exploded and vomited all over her. "He covers his mouth to catch it, and it goes out the sides and showers down the right side of my body", she recalled. "And I'm not talking just like liquid, this is like chunks and debris like hitting me, going down my side, on my arm rest, on my coat, on my seat."

Delta Airlines Staff Did Little To Clean Up

Being covered in someone else's vomit is my idea of hell. The smell of vomit even close by is enough to turn the stomach. Being covered in sick is foul.

The plane returned to taxi back to the terminal where clean-up crews and medical staff came on board. But poor Jungten, who had just been vomited on, wasn't given much help. "My pants start getting wet because it's seeping under my butt," she said.

The cleaning crews did bits here and there but mostly ignored the dripping woman. Despite having been vomited on she was given almost nothing to clean up with. She was given "two small towelettes and five cocktail napkins" to deal with the spill. Hardly enough to even clean up a drink, let alone a fellow passenger's vomit.

She was left to sit in the sick for the three-hour flight. In response, she was offered $120 and a cookie-cutter email.
