The nu-metal band allocated a portion of every ticket sold during its anniversary tour to support USA athletes competing in USA Judo and USA Cycling, specifically supporting the BMX Racing and BMX Freestyle programs.
During the final night of the tour at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, Five Finger Death Punch gifted $200,000 to USA Judo and Cycling. The donation also reflects guitarist Zoltan Bathory and vocalist Ivan Moody's lifelong passion for judo and BMX.
Five Finger Death Punch Members Explain Passion For Olympic Sports
"We cheer for our athletes when they step onto the world stage representing our country, but we also want to stand behind them during the years of work it takes to get there," Zoltan Bathory said.
"I started judo at nine years old, and I still compete today. I know what it can give a person. How it shapes your mind, builds discipline, and teaches you to face adversity. Those lessons stayed with me far beyond the mat. I've built a life and a career on those principles. That's why supporting USA Judo is deeply personal to me. I want more people to discover this sport. I want the athletes who reach its highest level to have the resources to pursue their full potential.
"Our fans' support puts us in a position to give back. We're grateful for that opportunity. As we close out our 2026 tour cycle, this is something we can all be proud of together, and we'll continue building on it in 2027."
Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody detailed his connection with BMX, and how it fueled the band's massive Team USA donation.
"As a kid, I remember wanting to pursue a life amongst the BMX greats. My bike wasn't a toy. It was my best homie. My key to freedom. My balance.
He added, "To be able to donate to a cause this close to my heart... I feel like I'm donating to that young boy that is still riding quarter pipes and learning combos with his friends. Full circle. GO USA. Roll Out."
Five Finger Death Punch kicks off the European leg of its world tour in 2027. They will be supported by Lamb of God and Bleed From Within.
