The Freedom 250 event is looking to be a high-profile ordeal. President Trump has promised quite a lot of things, including the highly anticipated "Great American State Fair".
And while we've reported on some of the issues they've had in terms of celebrities coming on to work the crowds, it looks like there's another way things aren't necessarily going as planned.

And that's in the infrastructure itself. As reported by the Independent, an accident at the main stage of the Great Fair event almost ended in tragedy.
Video of the incident shared on social media shows the wild incident as it unfolded. It shows what appears to be a group of 50s-style flappers dancing alongside a live jazz band.

In the background is a screen showing the word "US" - something that looks unfinished. And then, the wild thing happens. A stage light plummets from the ceiling as they're dancing, causing a ruckus.
It's lucky no one was hit - but it got pretty close to doing so. The dancers nearest to the accident freeze first, and the rest fall out of line with the band, which tapers off as they realize what happened.
The clip ends with a woman watching the rehearsal say, "I was waiting for a sign like that to happen."
Social Media Had Mixed Reactions About the Freedom 250 Stage Incident
Social media was quite split about the event, with some people criticizing the general prep for the Freedom 250 event.
Others seemed to believe that it might have been an intentional thing, and blamed would-be plotters who could have planned it to happen. But one thing everyone could agree on is that they were glad the performers were safe, and no one was injured.
One commenter wrote, "D***, if I where them, that would be sign to get the hell outta there! but glad no one was hurt!". Another wrote, "Holy smokes, that could have easily killed someone as heavy as that was."
