Caitlin Clark was probably feeling lighter in the second half of the Indiana Fever's win against the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday. The WNBA star said she threw up "everything" in her stomach at halftime during the second game of the first-round playoff matchup.

Caitlin Clark Broke a Record Last Night

The 24-year-old Clark scored 27 points while racking up 15 assists and 7 rebounds on Sep. 29. She is the first player in WNBA history with over 25 points and 15 assists in a game, regular season or playoffs, according to ESPN.

"I thought that we were just soft in Game 1, and I thought tonight we just played a lot tougher," Clark told Prime Video. "Just really proud of this group."

The Fever emerged victorious over the Aces in the 99-89 win, but Clark's performance came at a cost.

"To be honest, I threw up everything in my stomach at halftime," Clark shared after the game. "I was just out there so tired. It wasn't because I didn't feel good or anything. I just was that gassed."

The Fans Want History to Repeat

The Fever are the underdogs in this playoff series, and Clark joked that she is hatching a plan for Game 3 on Oct. 1. The matchup will decide who moves to the next round.

"Let's throw up again at halftime of the next game," said Clark.

The WNBA superstar attributes her stomach issues to her strong work ethic. She added that it "just means you're working hard," and she's prepared to "leave it all out there."

A reporter then brought up the incident during the post-game press conference. She noted that Clark also vomited back in June when the Fever beat the Atlanta Dream.

"That is gross," said Clark. "I think I was just really tired, and then, sometimes I drink too much water."

She then admitted it was "an incredible amount of throw-up" and apologized "to anybody that was sitting in the vicinity of that trash can."

Clark and the Fever will take on the Aces at 9 p.m. Eastern time on Oct. 1.
