Barbara Eden has stepped out following a "sudden illness" that sidelined her. The I Dream of Jeannie star previously had to cancel an appearance at a classic film festival in September because of it.
We reported on it when it happened - the organizers of the Cinecon Classic Film Festival in Santa Monica announced she had to bow out of her appearance just hours before she was slated to attend. "We're sorry to share that, due to a sudden illness, Barbara Eden will no longer be able to appear in person at Cinecon tonight."
"Barbara is deeply regretful that she had to cancel at the last minute... She had been very much looking forward to seeing everyone and celebrating with us." The I Dream of Jeannie star was slated to receive the Cinecon Legacy Award.
She later opened up on social media about her "sudden illness". "It's okay everyone! I'm okay!" she wrote. "Oh, my goodness there has been a bit of a miscommunication."
"I'm not suffering from an illness; my doctor very recently prescribed a brand-new medication that turned out to have some nasty side effects. Due to the discomfort, my doctor ordered me to remain at home until it can be sorted out."

And now, the I Dream of Jeannie star has stepped out for the first time since cancelling her appearance. Per Page Six, people are really happy to see her back!
The 95 year old was seen out and about in Los Angeles. She was sporting a black outfit alongside several eccentric jewelry pieces.
The actress had attended the Hollywood Show, which is an autograph and pop culture event. Fans were delighted to see her in attendance, and noted how good she looked, especially after her "sudden illness".
"What a ray of sunshine Ms Eden is," one wrote. "Beautiful inside and out, and there is no way she is in her 90s!"
Another commenter wrote, "She is definitely as beautiful as ever and she doesn't look 95 at all," with another adding, "Looking gorgeous at her age god bless to you Barbara Eden."
