In a tribute on Instagram, Sky confirmed that her father recently passed away. She said she is gutted after losing both her father and Hulk so close together.

"My father Kirk passed away last night after a hard battle with colon cancer that became increasingly difficult this last year," Sky wrote. "I'm especially thankful to his wife, Robin- thank you for taking such good care of my dad through all of this," she continued.

"He was a true outdoorsman. He loved hiking, camping, canoeing, wildlife. And teaching us every random forest trick he knew," she also wrote. "He loved westerns and old kung fu movies too, and somehow made all of those things feel magical when we were kids. So many of my childhood memories are tied to the outdoors because of him."

Losing Hulk Hogan

Sky said that "losing my husband and my father in the same year has honestly gutted me."

"I'm comforted somewhat knowing my sisters and I got to be there with him, love him through it all, and make sure he never felt alone at the end," she wrote. She also added, "I love you, Dad."

Hulk Hogan and Sky married back in October 2023. Sadly, the wrestling icon passed away just a few years after tying the knot. At least, Sky still has the support of her family and friends through this difficult time in her life.

Recently, the wrestler was the subject of the four-part Netflix docuseries Hulk Hogan: Real American. Following Hulk Hogan's passing, Sky chose to participate in the documentary as a way of honoring him and his legacy.

She said of the documentary, "Grateful to have been part of telling his story. It was a deeply meaningful and emotional experience that helped me begin to move through the grief I've been carrying. Even more than that, I'm grateful for the life we shared. I miss him every day, and I'm endlessly proud of the man he was."
