"I don't wanna go back. 'Cause you were my world, and I was your girl. But Daddy, come back," Brook sings in the heartfelt song.

Later in the snippet, Brook hints at a more complicated relationship with Hogan, "I don't wanna go back, 'cause what you did to me. Daddy, you lying there made a fool out of me."

Hogan passed away on July 24, 2025. He had appeared on WWE's debut Netflix show just a few months earlier. Brook decided not to attend his funeral.

"(He) hated the morbidity of funerals," Brook explained. "He didn't want one. And although I know people grieve in many ways... I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how...privately."

Clearly, Brook is looking for ways to honor her late father in her own way. The upcoming song appears to be heartfelt and a way of working through her grief. The post on Instagram enjoyed a positive reception, with 55 comments all appearing to be encouraging her and celebrating the upcoming release.

Ric Flair Admits To Sharing "Bad Information" Regarding Hulk Hogan's Death

Brook's upcoming song will be a welcome change of pace for Hogan fans, as, following the legendary wrestler's death, they witnessed a bitter exchange of words between long-time friend Ric Flair and Hogan's wife, Sky Hogan.

Flair had previously stated that Hogan's death was due to "street drugs." However, after Sky pushed back against that claim, Flair admitted that he'd received bad information.

"Okay, Sky! I Got Bad Information, According To You," Flair wrote on X. "I Should Have Never Mentioned It. I Have Known Hogan Since 1979. Let's Just Move Past This And Concentrate On His Legacy. Period, End Of Story. Let's PRESERVE HIS LEGACY Rather Than Dwell On Any Negative Energy. I Repeat- Hulkamania Forever!"

Hopefully, Brook's upcoming release will be a better way of celebrating Hogan's legacy, while also allowing her to say goodbye in her own words and her own way.
