Time to Head to the Toilet! It's National Bathroom Reading Month
It's one of those things that doesn't seem to be real. Yes, June is National Bathroom Reading Month.
And while no further explanation on how to celebrate it seems necessary, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is calling all bathroom bookworms to a reading challenge.
For its "Porcelain Picks Reading Challenge," readers sign up and pick a book from the company's curated reading list. The books selected are "a collection of well-known and widely read titles" that were "chosen for their ability to draw readers in quickly and make it easy to pick up where they left off."
The books all run under 500 pages, and include Atomic Habits by James Clear, The Correspondent by Virginia Evans, Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt, The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune, and the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel The Great Gatsby.
How Do I Enter?
To win the $2,000 grand prize, all you have to do is sign up on this page and choose one of the five books. You will also have an opportunity to nominate a library you would like to support.
To be eligible, you have to be at least 18 years old. You also must live in a state where Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is located.
A random drawing of the entrants will be made on July 1. The winner, who will be notified by email, will receive $2,000 for a bathroom refresh. The winner's nominated library will also receive a $2,000 donation.
