Everything to Know About Season 2 of Blake Shelton's Game Show 'Barmageddon'

Let the drinking games begin.

A celebrity game show co-produced and co-hosted by Blake Shelton and Carson Daly, Barmageddon returned to the USA Network on Nov. 13 for its second season. Shelton and Daly are joined on each episode by Nikki Garcia (formerly known as WWE superstar Nikki Bella) plus a pair of celebrities that compete in a series of five over-the-top drinking games.

In a season 2 trailer, Shelton says "the need for redemption will be bigger than ever" and "the games will be crazier." Contestants compete to redeem regular people who went viral online for less-than-desirable reasons.

"The competition heats up when the losing rival of each round has a chance to even the score by spinning the Wheel of Redemption, a risky move with hilarious consequences," Deadline reported. "Shelton and Daly will offer words of encouragement —and heckling, of course— to their celebrity friends. On occasion, they might even step in to show off their skills and play a game or two. Ultimately, the winning team takes home a prize while the losing celebrity must accept the shame of defeat. But this is Barmageddon— even if they did not win, at least they had a ton of fun trying."

Shelton and Daly dreamed up the show's concept while working together on The Voice.

"What we were aiming for was real-life The Hangover," Shelton told People last December. "We wanted to try to capture that in a TV show with people that we know."

Each episode was filmed at the downtown Nashville location of Shelton's chain of Ole Red restaurants and bars.

Barmageddon's first season premiered on Dec. 5, 2022. Per Country Now, it "was dubbed USA's most-watched unscripted freshman series in almost three years across all platforms."

The season premiere episode pitted Shelton's fellow The Voice alum Kelly Clarkson against Hollywood star Michelle Rodriguez.

"If you've ever wondered what Kelly Clarkson is like when she's been drinking a lot, you've got to watch Monday. She is drunk," Shelton said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "I don't care if she gets mad at me for saying this. I got what I needed out of her, and she's already been on the show, so we're good now. But I'm talking about her being wasted on Barmageddon."

Shelton will compete in one episode against his spouse, Gwen Stefani.

"She's more of the supportive person, so I've never seen her as super competitive ... until she plays against me on Barmageddon!" Shelton said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "All of a sudden, it's like flipping me off really close to my face. Saying, 'You're going down!' I've never heard her say, 'Let's go!' like Tom Brady. Now she's saying, 'Let's go!'"

Two additional episodes will pit Shelton against a fellow musician. Lauren Alaina versus Shelton is advertised, as is a special Christmas episode pitting the "God's Country" singer against Ice T.

Here's the other matchups: David Arquette vs. Colbie Caillat, Jelly Roll vs. Gabriel Iglesias, Carly Pearce vs. Boyz II Men, Rob Riggle vs. Chris Hardwick, Nikki Glaser vs. Al Madrigal and Bill Engvall vs. AJ McCarron.
