This Old Horse Trailer Was Converted into a Cozy and Rustic Tiny House

These days, just about anything can be repurposed into a tiny house. Now a company in Somerset, England, House Box, has pulled off the ultimate repurposing project. In a recent Facebook post, the company showed off the transformation of an old horse trailer into a tiny house.

To create this masterpiece, the company used a 1989 horse trailer and truck. When it arrived at their shop, it came "complete with hay and poo." But, the team braved the standoffish interior and got to work. After completely stripping the box, they "planed the timber back and blasted and repainted the frame." At this point, it was just a matter of adding in all the homey touches one would need.

One of the best things about this tiny house is that the team really tried to stick with the theme of the trailer box, lovingly nicknamed Helga. They stuck with a rustic design throughout the home and focused on making the most of the small space.

It features a cozy sitting space and a beautiful custom cabinet that gives you plenty of storage space.

Even the kitchen has some fabulous touches with its blue cabinets and uniquely cut wood counter.

The light fixtures in the home are hanging lanterns coupled with modern canned lighting.

Even the bathroom has a rustic feel with its unique toilet design and natural wood shelving.

During the winter, you can stay warm with a wood burning stove that ties in nicely with the design of the home.

The loft style bedroom has both skylights and windows that will offer you a great view of your surroundings and some natural lighting.

It even has a beautiful front door and covered porch to finish off the look.

This is certainly one beautiful tiny house. Between its unique design, natural elements and gorgeous color scheme, you can't go wrong with this one.

Naturally, this isn't the only project this team of amazing artists is working on. According to their post, they have at least three more projects in the works, so keep an eye out for many more creations out of this crew.
