You know what they say: the show must go on.
At least that's how a band approached their monthly show at Bob n' Jeans in Crosby, Texas, which is northeast of Houston. A little water (ok, a lot of water) wasn't going to stop the aptly named band Pushwater from performing for locals in the town.
Band member Jesse Duke took some cell phone footage of the band loading in their gear through the high water. "We're going to have a little pool party here tonight if y'all want to join us," Duke says in the footage. "Y'all make sure to bring your rain boots."
Inside, the water from recent Texas floods reached just to the base of the stage, which was enough to keep the band's gear dry. A few honky-tonkers got together to two-step through the water.
Incredibly, areas just east of Houston have seen over 10 feet of rainfall since Spring of 2015. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the rains will calm down anytime soon, as Texans are headed for another week of heavy storms.
