Zachery Ty Bryan's Extensive Run In With The Law
The 43-year-old used to play Brad Taylor, the oldest son of Tim Allen's Tim Taylor on Home Improvement. The show ended in 1999. Tim Allen still shares concern over Zachery Ty Bryan's well-being but he ultimately feels like there's nothing he could feasibly do.
In 2023, Allen spoke with The Hollywood Reporter, saying, "Zach is a great kid who has grown into a complex man. All you can do is step aside and let somebody go through their process. At a certain point, he deviated from the guy I know to somebody who is reacting to situations that I had nothing to do with and can't control. I don't know what happens when people get corrupted. You just don't know."
Zachery Ty Bryan's record runs pretty deep at this point. The former child star has five DUI arrests, two of which stem from different states last year. The first comes in La Quinta, California and the latter takes place in Custer County, Oklahoma.
This is on top of his domestic violence issues as well. Bryan was charged in October 2020. The judge lets him off the hook in terms of prison time and sentences him to three years of bench probation. Additionally, he had to attend a domestic violence prevention program. Zachery also gets hit with six other charges. They go as follows: harassment, coercion, strangulation, interference with making a report and second counts of menacing and assault in the fourth degree. However, those were ultimately dismissed by the court.
