Christina Applegate spent nearly four months in the hospital. The actress was reportedly discharged in recent days. According to an insider who spoke with TMZ, the actress, who has been fighting multiple sclerosis since 2021, is now back home.

"Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Christina, who had been hospitalized in Los Angeles since late March, was recently discharged," TMZ reported. "A source close to the actress tells us she is home and doing well."
It's worth noting that there has been no confirmation as to whether Applegate's extended hospital stay was due to her autoimmune condition, or whether she was dealing with a different health issue.
At the time of Applegate's hospitalization, a rep told Page Six that "she's had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about."
Shortly after being admitted to the hospital, Applegate did address the news directly with her fans.
"Health issues are a constant for me, but I'm a strong chick and I'm getting stronger and better every day," she wrote on Instagram. "I'm taking a moment to focus on my health, but I'll be back with more to say soon enough."
Nevertheless, there has been no direct update as to her health condition since that Instagram post.
David Faustino Gave an Update on Christina Applegate in June
David Faustino played Applegate's brother during their time together on Married...With Children. Following Applegate's hospitalization earlier this year, he provided an update on his co-star's health back in June.
"It's been very hard for her, but she does keep her humor," Faustino told Us Weekly. "She gets through this with some humor, and that's kind of her way that she moves through it. I do a lot of visits with her. A lot of texting, a lot of checking in."
Faustino then continued by noting that Applegate has retained her dry sense of humor, despite her health battles.

Applegate deserves the right to privacy regarding her health. If, or when, she's ready to talk about her recent hospital stay, we will surely hear about it. Until then, all anyone can do is wish her well.
