Holly Williams Performs Hank Classic With 11-Year-Old Prodigy [VIDEO]

An 11-year-old music sensation got to perform a beautiful rendition of Hank Williams‘ “I Saw The Light” with his granddaughter, Holly.

The young EmiSunshine featured Holly in her debut episode of “Americana Corner”, a Youtube series in which Emilie sits down with notable musicians and discusses their music and careers. In the adorable Q&A session, Williams discusses her close relationship with her famous family and shares fun facts ranging from her favorite breakfast food to how she felt the first time she picked up a guitar. At the end of the video, the two come together to perform a beautiful rendition of the 1948 Hank Williams classic. Both of their immense vocal talents shine through in the haunting harmonies of the country gospel song which Hank used to perform at the end of every show before his untimely death in 1953.

Emilie Sunshine Hamilton has been singing since she was only ten months old. The music prodigy already has two albums under her belt and has quickly built a dedicated fan base thanks to steady touring and appearances on the Grand Ole Opry. You can see more videos of her performances at her official YouTube channel.

Williams will head to the the studio later this summer to record a new album with producer Dave Cobb, who has previously worked with Sturgill Simpson and Jason Isbell. For more information on Holly Williams’ music and upcoming tour dates, head to her official website.
