On September 7, the Hill Country Conservancy will hold their Hill Country Nights benefit in Austin, Texas, featuring performances by Margo Price and Hayes Carll. Taking place at the Moody Theater (also known as ACL Live since the TV series Austin City Limits is recorded there), the special night of stellar music will raise funds to help preserve the stunning landscape of the Texas Hill Country.
The Hill Country Conservancy aims to protect the beautiful region of the Hill Country, peppered with natural springs fueled by traveling rainwater and open land inhabited by Texas wildlife. Overdeveloping the land encroaches upon and threatens the natural wonders, so the Conservancy focuses on finding a balance. They provide development information to landowners and residents as well as holding events like birding hikes and trail cleanups to get Texans involved hands-on.

At this year's benefit concert, Austinites will be thrilled to see Margo Price return after her short set at Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic. Riding the wave of two hit albums, Midwest Farmer's Daughter and All American Made, Price has gained a strong following of fans who appreciate her sincere and soulful songwriting. Price will be joined by Texas's own Hayes Carll who released his hit album KMAG YOYO in 2011 followed by 2016's Lovers and Leavers, which he released via his own label to critical acclaim.
Drinks, food from Salt Lick BBQ and a silent auction start off the night for those attending the pre-concert Hill Country Conservancy gala. Guests are encouraged to wear "Hill Country Cocktail" attire (nice jeans and cowboy boots.) Tables for the gala/lower seating for the concert are already available for sponsors to purchase on the Hill Country Conservancy website. Mezzanine and balcony tickets will be up for sale to the general public (for the concert only) on July 13 at 10:00 a.m. CST with pricing between $40 - $60 on the ACL Live website.
