Forbes has released their annual list of the highest-paid entertainers from around the world, and this year's roster includes a few famous country stars.

The Forbes Celeb 100 list is comprised of musicians, actors, authors, athletes and celebrities who raked in millions in profit. Five country artists made the list, pulling in record numbers from music sales, tours and big endorsements. This year's highest paid country singers probably won't surprise you, and together, they earned $263 million.

According to Forbes, their "figures are based on numbers from Nielsen, Pollstar, Box Office Mojo, Songkick and IMDB." The company also interviewed industry insiders and stars to collect information on the artist's wages.

The No. 1 highest paid country star (coming in at No. 15 on the list) is an industry veteran. Garth Brooks earned $70 million this year, thanks to his music sales and record-breaking ticket sales at his ongoing world tour.

Kenny Chesney also made the list at No. 26 this year. His summer tour, endorsements with Costa sunglasses, Corona and his own Blue Chair Bay rum company helped Chesney bring in a whopping $56 million.

Luke Bryan came in at No. 37 with $53 million. Bryan's Kill the Lights Tour has dominated ticket sales this summer. Endorsements with Miller Lite and Cabela's only added to his giant cash flow.

The No. 47 spot goes to another longtime country chart-topper. Toby Keith is rolling in the dough -- $47.5 million to be exact. Aside from his music, Keith also earns money from his Ford endorsement and his restaurants chain I Love This Bar and Grill.

Rounding out the highest paid country stars is Jason Aldean. At No. 75, Aldean not only banks on music sales, but also rakes in money from a unique business venture. Aldean has a stake in Jay-Z's Tidal music streaming service, which helped him earn a total of $36.5 million this year.

The entertainer who landed in first place on the list probably won't surprise you. Yes, Taylor Swift earned the top spot by raking in an incredible $170 million. Boy band One Direction, author James Patterson, show host Dr. Phil and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo round out the top five.
