A mob of what looked to be teenagers sparked multiple fist fights near the Ferris wheel. You couldn't even count who was involved and who was watching on the sidelines; it was complete mayhem. The video showed groups of juveniles getting into scuffles before police attempted to break them up.
Chaotic Brawl Ensues At Texas State Fair

At one point, an officer tackled one of the brawlers and pulled out what seemed to be a taser or a gun. Behind that cop was another group of individuals getting into a fight. Soon after, a clip showed one of the juveniles running away from an officer chasing after him.
It wasn't just young men, but women too. A group of girls at one point were throwing punches and kicks at each other. By the end of the chaos, the authorities ended up making two arrests and charges against three of the suspects.

Haley Morrow from the Beaumont Police Department confirmed this with the Daily Mail. "There were two arrests made; both individuals had outstanding warrants," said Morrow. "In addition, three juvenile cases were filed for various charges."
Later that evening, the cops released those juveniles to their parents. "Several others were escorted off the fairgrounds and issued criminal trespass warnings, meaning they are prohibited from returning," she continued.
Although Morrow confirmed that no officers suffered injuries that night, it's unclear how many of the brawlers got hurt. The police also aren't sure of the cause of the altercation, but they do have an inclination of how it began. "Unfortunately, it appears that some juveniles intentionally planned to meet at the fair to fight," said Morrow.
In response to the wild brawl, Morrow gave a statement to KFDM from the YMBL who operates the fair. "The YMBL has implemented a strict zero-tolerance policy when it comes to fighting or disruptive behavior. Anyone involved in any altercation will be immediately removed from the fairgrounds and issued a criminal trespass warning."
Additionally, Morrow advised parents to supervise their children if they wanted to attend the fair. "Ensuring a safe and family-friendly environment requires cooperation from everyone," Morrow explained.
