Goths who happen to be lovers of ranch dressing rejoice: Hidden Valley is unleashing "Spooky Ranch" for Halloween 2026.
While traditional ranch dressing is creamy and white, Hidden Valley's Halloween offering casts something of a shadow over the proceedings. According to PEOPLE, alchemists at Hidden Valley have concocted a combination of fruit juice and cocoa that promises to make the creamy chicken wing and fries elixir pitch-black.
The company promises that the artificial free ingredients will only change the color of the salad dressing to a witch's favorite shade and will not transform the heavenly flavor.
To top it off, the bottle glows in the dark, so you can easily find it at the witching hour when boils and ghouls get the munchies the hardest.
Spooky Ranch is already haunting shelves as we speak, as a Walmart exclusive for a limited time.

Meanwhile, Instagram snack food guru Candy Hunting posted about Hidden Valley's Halloween offering for 2026. Along with their announcement of the ranch, Candy Hunting speculated about the ghostly elephant in the room: "Will this stuff turn our poop a weird color?"
Candy Hunting seems to think our tiolets are more or less safe.
"The bold dark color comes from fruit juice and cocoa, so it won't cause any spooky ?," they reasoned.

Of course, fans of spooky snacks and their respective terrifying toppings took to the comments to weigh in on the new black ranch.
