Henry Winkler And His Theory On The California Wildfire

The American actor did not hold back when he shared his theory on the California Wildfire. While many are blaming climate change for the state's sudden burst into flames, Winkler has another theory. The star took to X to share his thoughts. He wrote, "THERE IS an ARSONIST here in LA. May you be beaten you unrecognizable!!! The pain you have caused!!!"

His post garnered various responses. While some fans pledged their support and agreement others fought back. Some fans who supported his theory on the California wildfire wrote the following.

"I had a feeling it was arson!"

"You are right in a way."

"I've been watching all day and night. How is it possible for the fires to keep jumping for miles and miles? How did the Hollywood Hills fire start? I'm starting to wonder if it is arsonists or terrorists, or both."

Where as those who disagreed with him left comments like this.

"Embers blown on wind can travel 2 miles or more and set fires off. While it is possible, it is doubtful that they are all caused by arson — especially when no rain since March 2024 and 100mph winds are added in."

Some agreed with his theory but disagreed with his methods for handling it.

"My opinion of you just sank. What good does physically harming them do? It would be upsetting to do and upsetting to watch. But locking them up would do some good."

The LA Fire Department Responds

After hearing Henry Winkler share his theory on the California wildfire, the LA Fire Department decided to respond. While they did not agree with Winker's claims, they did not deny its plausibility either. The Daily Mail shares what the fire department responded. They stated, "There's no way to know at this moment exactly where and how the series of fires started, but an investigation is underway."

They continued by explaining that just because the arson squad is investigating each fire does not automatically confirm that arson is the cause of these fires. Apparently "that is a matter of course for every major fire" — and this is definitely a major fire.

The blaze has killed at least five people and has forced thousands to flee. Daily Mail shares "more than 45 square miles and 1,300 structures have been destroyed in the LA area." Additionally, this fire has caused "an estimated $48 billion in damage" so far — and the flames continue to rage on. While thousands of people were evacuated, their homes were not so lucky.

Various people lost their homes to the California wildfire, including stars Billy Crystal, Eugene Levy, John Goodman, and Paris Hilton. As the fire department continues to do their best to combat the flames the National Guard has been deployed to hopefully help with the mayhem.

Winkler Is Not Alone In His Theory

Winkler is not the only one to suggest that an arsonist is behind the California wildfire. Podcaster Andrew Huberman also shared a daunting video of some individuals lighting a fire.

In the beginning of the video he shares his location. He states, "We are at 302 Pico and people are lighting fires now." While he does not explicitly express that all of the fires are due to arson, he does point out that the fire in this video was caused by some of the individuals shown.

Then he states, "So, civilians are now lighting fires." He urges viewers to stay safe out there and shares more terrifying news. "Fire department has been dispatched," he confirmed "but we don't have enough water to put this thing out."

With more and more fires blazing, whether from natural or human causes, and not enough water to dispose of them, things are not looking great for California. This begs the question, why is there not enough water to put out these fires?
