Jon Pardi tries his hand at writing the soundtrack for your next beach getaway with the Tex-Mex flavored, horn-accompanied single "Tequila Little Time."
Like other singles off Pardi's forthcoming album Heartache Medication, the Luke Laird and Rhett Akins co-write pays homage to prior decades' country stars. This time around, Pardi will draw comparisons to usual reference point George Strait's own South of the Border fixation, namely the song "Blame It on Mexico," plus Alan Jackson's Jimmy Buffett team-up "It's 5 O' Clock Somewhere."
The song builds the anticipation for Heartache Medication, out Sept. 27. Prior teasers include the fiddle-driven "Ain't Always the Cowboy" and responsible honky-tonk drinking song "Me and Jack."
