On April 13, Clay Walker released new song "Working on Me," his first single in over two years. The track, written by Lee Thomas Miller, Michael White and Clint Daniels, is a steamy ode to newfound romance.
The song calls back to Walker's early '90s slow jams like "This Woman and This Man" and "Hypnotize the Moon," while still giving a nod to contemporary country with a slick R&B-inspired slow groove.

Walker first entered the country scene with 1993's "What's it to You," which went to No. 1. He went on to score six No. 1 singles with follow-ups "Live Until I Die," "Dreaming With My Eyes Open" and more.
There's no news yet on when the singer will release a new album. His last record, She Won't Be Lonely Long, was released in 2010.
'Working on Me' Lyrics:
When I sleep
The first person I see in my dreams
You come out of nowhere
And you're real to the touch and I hate waking up
Even when you're not here
You're working on me
When I drive
I stare out the window and I try
to picture every detail of your face and your smile
every kiss, every mile
No matter where I'm going girl
You're working on me
Like a second glass of wine
Slow and easy through my mind
You take hold of me, like gravity
Like the full moon pulls the tide
I couldn't stop it if I tried
So keep doing what you're doing
It's working on me
When you're close
My self-control goes up in smoke
I just can't keep my hands of you
The salt on your skin and your eyes pull me in
Every thing about you girl is working on me
(Repeat Chorus)
