There appears to be real forward movement in the investigation surrounding the death of Nashville and Heroes star Hayden Panettiere. But one rep for the late actress doesn't want people to jump the gun while the investigation is going on.

Earlier this month, TMZ reported that the Drug Enforcement Administration DEA was "zeroing in on a drug dealer" who played a role in her death. Another report claimed that the same investigators uncovered a slew of texts between Panettiere and the alleged supplier that could connect him to her death.
Rep For Hayden Speaks Out Amid Investigation
In a statement to PEOPLE, a rep for the late actress said that the investigation is still ongoing. And that any details that have come out surrounding Hayden's death are purely speculative.
"As reported Wednesday by the Greenville County Coroner's Office, Hayden's death remains under investigation pending the completion of toxicology results. Despite reports from some outlets stating otherwise," the rep said in a statement to the outlet. "Recent reports attributed to unnamed sources are unverified hearsay and have been attributed to conflicting information that continues to circulate."
The statement also adds: "While we are all eager to find closure and better understand the circumstances surrounding her passing, we must remain patient and allow the investigative process to unfold," the statement continued. "The answers we are all seeking will come."
The film star was found unresponsive in a rental property that she was staying in back in August and was pronounced dead shortly after. Narcan was administered to her in an attempt to revive her. But that attempt was unsuccessful. This led investigators to believe that her death was drug-related.
So far, the DEA has talked to at least one person surrounding Hayden's death. That being her longtime boyfriend, Brian Hickerson. Hickerson, along with his brother Zachary, administered the Narcan dose in an attempt to revive Hayden. In addition, Hickerson gave police a bag of Hayden's prescription drugs in an effort to help their investigation.
