What Soap is Affected?
Intercon Chemical Co. are the manufacturers of the affected soap. The FDA designated the recall as Class II, meaning the soap "may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences".

What is Wrong With the Affected Products?
The affected products may harbor Pseudomonas and Serratia bacteria. Both bacteria can cause "blood infections, pneumonia, urinary tract infections," among other complications.
Intercon sold the soap to wholesale distributors, who may be using it in public spaces across 20 states. The FDA have advised anyone experiencing symptoms after using the recalled product to contact their health provider.
