The leaves haven't even begun to change, and we're already talking about Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel.

But its latest movie is going to be a little different than the network's typical holiday fare. It's another collaboration with the NFL titled Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story.
What We Know About the Latest Hallmark Channel Christmas Movie
As reported by Parade, Hallmark Channel shared the news at its 25th anniversary press event. It's a follow-up to 2024's Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story and last year's Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story.
Both of these films featured appearances from players on their respective teams, and the latest entry is no different. A Bears Love Story will feature appearances from the team's head coach, Ben Johnson and tight ends Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet.
In addition, legendary Bears players Mike Singletary, Charles "Peanut" Tillman, and Dan Hampton will star. Connie Payton, the wife of Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton, will also make a cameo. Mascot Staley Da Bear was also on the call sheet.
Also starring in the film will be Lyndsy Fonseca, Robert Buckley, Marsha Mason, Barbara Alyn Woods, and Khary Payton. Tamera Mowry-Housley, Marilu Henner, Jake Connelly, and Dyon "Mojo" Brooks are also slated to appear.
When Will the Movie Premiere?
The premiere date for Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story hasn't been announced. However, it will be part of Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas event later this year.
While the plot details aren't yet known, the movie was filmed in Chicago, including Soldier Field, the Bears' home field.
Hallmark has found plenty of inspiration for its Christmas movies over the years. In addition to the NFL, the network has looked to country music stars for material.
The 2023 film Heaven Down Here was inspired by Mickey Guyton's song of the same name. Blake Shelton has released six Christmas movies with Hallmark Channel, including Time For Her to Come Home for Christmas. There have also been Christmas at Dollywood and Five More Minutes, which is based on the Scotty McCreery song.
