"We're told Gypsy texted Ken 'Happy Birthday' but did not get a response," TMZ reports. "Our sources tell us Gypsy's brother Dylan later discovered Ken in the home."
Urker and Blanchard share a one-year-old daughter together, Aurora Raina. She was born in December 2024. During her pregnancy, rumors swirled as to whether Urker was the child's father. However, Blanchard confirmed Urker was the father just one month before giving birth.
"There's been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby and while we've known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it's finally time to put all these theories to rest," Blanchard wrote in a now-deleted social media post. "Ken is the father...Ken is going to be an incredible dad and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world."
Urker and Blanchard met while she was in prison. They began as prison pen pals in 2017. The couple initially got engaged in 2018 before calling things off just months later. However, Blanchard then married Ryan Anderson before later divorcing him and getting back together with Urker.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Was Previously Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Murder
In 2016, Blanchard was sentenced to 10 years in prison. She pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder charge. She had reportedly been subjected to years of abuse from her mother, Dee Dee. As such, Blanchard convinced her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, to kill her mother.
"I wanted to be free of her hold on me," said Gypsy while testifying at Godejohn's trial, per The New York Post.
Godejohn was ultimately sentenced to life in prison plus 25 years for his role in the murder.
Dee Dee reportedly suffered from Munchausen by proxy syndrome. The psychological disorder leads parents to look for sympathy and attention by exaggerating or making up illnesses for their children.
Blanchard served eight and a half years of her 10-year sentence. She was released on parole in December, 2023.
No cause of death for Urker has been released at this time.
