Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are officially married! After a very public romance and months of engagement excitement, the couple finally said "I do" over the Fourth of July weekend. The ceremony took place on Shelton's 1,400-acre Oklahoma ranch. The location was beautiful. But it was Stefani's two separate, stylish gowns that really stole the show.
The Wedding
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani met as judges on The Voice back in 2014. At the time, both celebrities were coping with their own ongoing divorces. Shelton had been married to country singer Miranda Lambert; Stefani was splitting up with Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares three sons. When the couple announced their romance in 2015, fans of both pop and country music were astounded. Considering the No Doubt singer's punky image, her pairing with Shelton was a real surprise! Since going public, though, Shelton and Stefani's unique relationship has been something to behold.

Shelton and Stefani announced their engagement in an Instagram post last October. And after months of waiting, news finally broke that the couple wed on July 3, 2021. According to TV host Carson Daly, who officiated their wedding, the event was "perfectly them... a perfect blend of country and glamour." Daly appeared on TODAY this morning, to gush over details of the big day.
First, Daly explained that the couple wrote their own vows. When Stefani began by saying, "Since I was a girl..." Daly said that there was "not a dry eye in the church." Of course, that left Shelton to try and top a perfect speech! So the singer did what he does best. He wrote a song. Daly then described a new love song, written for Stefani by Shelton, which he performed on a stool with a guitar. What an epic tribute to this ongoing musical love story.

Gwen Stefani is a fashion icon. For decades, the blonde bombshell has blended old Hollywood beauty traits with cutting-edge style. And her highly anticipated wedding was, obviously, no exception. The 51-year-old bride walked down the aisle in an original Vera Wang wedding dress. (See a close-up of the dress above.) The strapless, lily-white silk-georgette gown features a deep sweetheart neckline and an expansive tulle skirt. Truly, a dress fit for a pop princess. Along with it, Stefani wore a chapel-length veil embroidered with white roses and five special names: hers and Shelton's alongside the names of her three children, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. Stefani's children were also represented on the veil through three hand-sewn baby love birds. It was a touching message in honor of their blended family. But that was not the only message embedded in Stefani's wedding day fashion.
Following the nuptials, Stefani changed into a fairy-like mini dress... with a sequin-studded tutu short enough to show off a sleek pair of white cowboy boots. It could work for walking down the aisle... or walking down the red carpet. And with that sharp sartorial choice, Stefani reminds us that — though her image has changed — she's still a rocker chick. Albeit with a dash of country charm. Congrats to the newlyweds!
