Legendary Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has made it clear that the band still loves performing and has no plans to stop touring anytime soon.

His comments come as the rock giants continue to face criticism from some fans over frontman Axl Rose's voice and the demands of their lengthy live shows.
Guns N' Roses are currently on the North American leg of their worldwide tour before heading overseas for the "Winter 2026" leg later this year.
Guns N' Roses Still Love Life on the Road
Slash recently spoke to New York rock station Q104.3 about the band's future and how Guns N' Roses continue to keep themselves and their fans engaged after decades of performing.
"We just sort of do what we do," he said. "We throw different things in. [But] I think we're more about keeping ourselves, you know, sort of inspired and having a good time and keeping it fresh for us and then we just come out there and do our thing."
Slash admitted that the traveling and logistical side of touring is not always enjoyable. However, everything changes once the band finally gets onstage.
"We're one of those bands that has been around for a long time, but really loves what we do," he continued.
"We spend most of our time humming and hawing about traveling until we get to the venue and then we finally get to get unleashed, and, you know, it's what we've been looking forward to for 21 hours out of the day."
That enthusiasm also allows Guns N' Roses to leave plenty of room for spontaneity during their performances.
The band regularly mixes things up, with a recent example seeing country superstar Chris Stapleton join them onstage for a surprise collaboration.
Slash Explains How Band Keeps Shows Fresh
Slash revealed that Guns N' Roses has around 50 songs to choose from across its extensive back catalog, helping the band fill its typically lengthy sets.
"We don't really have what you call a setlist either," he said. "We have an opening song, we have an ending song, and we have a lot of tentpole songs that we're going to play. And then we mix a lot of stuff up."
Despite the band's clear enthusiasm for continuing to perform, Axl Rose has experienced some physical difficulties recently.
The frontman revealed during a recent show that he has been dealing with temporomandibular joint disorder, commonly known as TMJ.
Rose also revealed that he recently underwent a procedure to address the condition and admitted that performing while recovering has been "challenging."
