Guns N' Roses Singer Axl Rose Sure Does Fall A Lot On Stage

Guns N' Roses have toured about 11 times, and their latest tour has 30 dates. Add to that all the festivals, small shows, and other performances, and the rock n roll group has been on stage hundreds, maybe even thousands of times. That has given frontman Axl Rose plenty of opportunities to fall on stage, and Guns N' Roses have kindly compiled them for us.

Axl Rose is no shy, retiring singer. He's happy to jump and spring around the stage while wailing out his greatest hit. It gives a bit of space for a few mishaps. In fact, the video shows a total of fourteen times Axl Rose has taken a fall on stage.

Stages are dangerous places. There are cables everywhere, and various bits of equipment hidden in sneaky spots. There are concealed edges, and other bandmates to wipe out into. Axl Rose, it appears, is intimately familiar with all these hazards.

The video shared on their Instagram has him fall off the front and back of the stage. He trips over things and runs into bandmates. At one point, he seems to just tumble over sideways for no reason whatsoever.

But the main thing is, even after a fall, Axl Rose continues singing almost every time. He's a true showman, and a simple slip isn't going to stop him screaming into the mic.

New Tour May Hold More Falls

The latest tour by Guns N' Roses, titled 'Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things', features 30 venues. It spans the world, and some truly fantastic venues. At 63, Axl Rose is still going strong, with most of the original band.

However, they have had a drummer replacement, subbing in Isaac Carpenter for Frank Ferre. There didn't seem to be any drama behind the split, and they appeared to leave things on good terms. At that age, it's a wonder they're still performing at all. I would certainly be looking to retire.

We have to hope Axl Rose doesn't take too heavy a fall this tour. He's getting on a bit, and those bones probably aren't as tough as they were.
