Grilled Elvis Sandwich with Banana, PB, and Bacon
Who would have thought to combine banana, peanut butter, and bacon? Only the King! This Grilled Elvis Sandwich is totally one of a kind.
- 4 slices white bread
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 bananas, peeled and sliced
- 4 slices cooked bacon
- 2 Tbsp butter
- Spread peanut butter on all four pieces of bread. Top two slices of bread with the banana and the other two slices with the bacon. Sandwich together and butter the outsides of the bread.
- Meanwhile heat a skillet over medium-heat and add the sandwiches, cooking until browned on both sides, about 4 minutes total. Cut on the diagonal and serve.
You can also eat this sandwich without grilling it, but what's the fun in that? Cook up a few extra pieces of bacon for breakfast and save it to make this sandwich fast.
