Granger Smith just released the video for his new single, "If The Boot Fits." The follow-up song to "Backroad Song" (his first ever No. 1), "If The Boot Fits" keeps the hooky singalong vibe truckin'.
The video gives fans a look at Smith's performance side. The clip primarily focuses on Smith's devoted audience, showing crowds from all sorts of festivals and performances. It also features shots of Smith bathed in sunlight and singing on an old wooden porch.
For a brief moment, the crowd even gets their own vocal feature in the chorus. It's a cool addition specifically for the video. Which obviously focuses on a whole bunch of boots.
The image of the crowd holding up their boots is becoming a classic visual at country concerts. Acts like Eric Church and Shania Twain, who also have boot-themed tunes, regularly see their audiences holding their boots in the air.
Smith hopes "If The Boot Fits" clicks with country radio like "Backroad Song" did. The tune climbed up to No. 28 on the Country Airplay chart this week. It's one of the few songs on Smith's new album Remington he didn't have a hand in writing. But it certainly fits right in with Smith's repertoire.
Smith released Remington, his major label debut, on March 4. Check out his website for a list of upcoming tour dates.
